The Too Hot To Handle flyball club is a family oriented organization that was started by Ralph Fusco and Chris Sells in 2002. We are a Florida based club with teammates in north and south Florida. Currently, we are active members of the North American Flyball Association(NAFA) and the United Flyball League International (U-FLI), competing throughout the southeast.
Like all flyball racing teams, we love to win, but our main goal is having fun with family, friends, and most importantly, our canine companions. Some of our human members have started out in this sport at the age of nine! As for the canine group, some have started learning at the tender age of 8 weeks and others have started their training in their mid-years. Once we all learn the game, we have a blast, humans included.
Some of our team members work in public relations to teach good canine ownership and we also work and assist in pet rescue. In fact, some of our canine members are rescued pets that have been given a better quality of life and a fun job to do! Our members also like to put on demonstrations for the public at dog shows, as well as, other special events.
Our dogs and handlers have accomplished much and continue to promote and participate in the fast paced sport of flyball. Their hard work and participation has taken them to the U-FLI Nationals in the years of 2006 and 2007. As a club, we love to compete and win, but first and foremost, our goal is to stay family oriented and keep the FUN in flyball.
So get that ball out, practice, practice, practice and we will meet you on the lanes!
We welcome you to visit our site often for updates and news of upcoming events.
